በአማራ ሕዝብ ላይ እየተፈጸመ ያለውን የሰው አልባ አውሮፕላን (የድሮን) ጥቃት፣ ከህግ አግባብ ውጭ ግድያ፣ ጅምላ መፈናቀል፣ ጾታዊ ጥቃት፣ የትምህርት ቤቶች መዘጋት፣ የሰብአዊ ርዳታ መከልከል እና የሕዝብ ተቋማት መውደምን ጨምሮ በአማራ ሕዝብ ላይ በስፋት እየተፈጸመ ያለውን ግፍ በወፍ በረር ለመዳሰስ ተሞክሯል። በኢትዮጽያ መንግስት ስርአት መር የሚፈጸመው በአማራ ሕዝብ ላይ እየደረሰበት ያለውን የዘር ማጥፋት በደል በጥቂቱ ዳሷል።
በተጨማሪም አፋሕድ ዓለም አቀፍ የሰብአዊ መብት ህጎችን ለማክበር፣ በተቆጣጠራቸው አካባቢዎች ሰላማዊ ዜጎችን ለመጠበቅ በቀጠናው ከሚንቀሳቀሱ ዓለም አቀፍ ተቋማት ጋር ለመተባበር ፍላጎቱን በቁርጠኝነት ገልጿል።
በመጨረሻም ዓለም አቀፉ ማኅበረሰብ የብልጽግና ስርአት በአማራ ሕዝብ ላይ የሚፈጸመውን መንግስት መራሽ እልቂትን ለማስቆም፣ ማህበራዊ አገልግሎቶችን ለማስጀመር እና የሰብአዊ እርዳታ እና አገልግሎት ሰጭ ሰራተኞችን ደህንነት ለመጠበቅ በምናደርገው ጥረት አለምአቀፋዊ የድጋፍ ትብብሩን እንዲደረግለት ጥሪውን አቅርቧል።
